Job Summary

Seeking a Lead DataStage Engineer with strong development and administrative expertise to own ETL platform delivery lead support operations and drive stability performance and continuous improvement across data integration systems.

Mandatory Skills

• 10 years of experience in IBM DataStage (Development Administration)
• Strong expertise in Unix/Linux shell scripting and cron jobs
• Hands-on experience with Python programming
• Strong experience with Control-M administration and scheduling
• Solid knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL Server Oracle)
• Proven experience in production support incident management and RCA
• Experience leading teams and handling stakeholder communication

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of DataStage support engineers
• Own end-to-end DataStage ETL platform (development administration and support)
• Design develop and enhance ETL jobs and workflows
• Administer DataStage (user roles security deployments and migrations)
• Troubleshoot job failures across DataStage and Unix environments
• Drive incident management RCA and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop and debug shell scripts and Python-based automation
• Manage Control-M (job monitoring failure handling scheduling agent upgrades)
• Configure SAP/Unix jobs calendars and workload policies
• Support Gentran (maps mailboxes FTP scripts Java programs SQL procedures)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors for issue resolution
• Define and enforce best practices for ETL development release and support
