Technical Lead - Data Engineering

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to drive our data engineering initiatives and lead a team of 5-6 engineers.

This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of 5-6 data engineers fostering technical growth and collaboration
Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Apache Airflow ( experience with Airflow 3 is preferred).
Understanding of Snowflake architecture.
Integrate and maintain real-time streaming applications using Apache Kafka / Spark Streaming
Build and integrate APIs across multiple systems and platforms
Drive technical decision-making and establish best practices
Ensure code quality through reviews and implementation

Required Qualifications

7-8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering or related fields
Strong proficiency in:
- Apache Airflow (DAG development workflow orchestration)
- Snowflake
- Advanced SQL (complex queries performance tuning)
- Apache Kafka (streaming event-driven architectures)
- API development and integration (REST/SOAP)
