As our Healthcare Scheduler youll play a critical role in our daily operations by:
- Coordinating caregiver schedules to ensure every client receives uninterrupted care.
- Matching caregivers with clients based on skills availability location and care needs.
- Managing call-offs last-minute schedule changes and emergency staffing.
- Communicating professionally with caregivers clients and family members regarding scheduling updates.
- Monitoring daily schedules to ensure all shifts are filled and visits are completed.
- Maintaining accurate scheduling records documentation and timekeeping.
- Working closely with office staff to resolve scheduling challenges and improve staffing efficiency.
- Building positive relationships with caregivers while supporting client satisfaction.
- Participating in an on-call rotation as needed.
Healthcare experience is required. Candidates without prior healthcare scheduling experience will not be considered.
The ideal candidate has:
- At least with scheduling experience in home care home health hospice assisted living skilled nursing or another healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to think quickly solve problems and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Experience using scheduling software and Microsoft Office.
- A positive attitude professionalism and a team-first mindset.
- The ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative office environment.
