Lead Application Developer

Analytica is seeking a Senior Developer / Task Lead to support a mission-critical high-visibility federal government program. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical leader responsible for overseeing the design development and delivery of enterprise applications while ensuring alignment with federal compliance performance and security standards. This role combines hands-on development with leadership responsibilities across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Participate as a key member of an Agile team contributing to the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering architecture design development testing and deployment

Lead the design development testing and deployment of enterprise application releases

Manage and coordinate daily development activities to ensure timely high-quality delivery of mission-critical systems

Oversee Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities including defect resolution enhancements system updates and performance improvements

Lead release planning execution and deployment activities across UAT and production environments

Ensure applications meet IRS testing procedures and performance validation requirements

Serve as the primary technical liaison to Government Program Managers stakeholders and executive leadership

Ensure solutions adhere to federal compliance security and architectural standards

Provide technical oversight and mentor junior developers promoting best practices in coding testing and DevOps

Support continuous improvement initiatives including process optimization automation and system scalability

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent experience)

7 years of experience as a Software Developer in enterprise environments

Demonstrated experience serving as a Technical Lead or Task Lead on federal IT programs

Experience supporting mission-critical systems in production environments

Strong proficiency in:

• C# .NET Framework
• SQL Server (T-SQL database design administration)
• Web technologies (HTML XML JavaScript)
