Job Summary

As a Laundry Maintenance Manager you will lead the maintenance team responsible for keeping commercial laundry equipment systems and facility operations running safely and efficiently. This hands-on leadership role combines technical expertise preventive maintenance project management budgeting procurement and Team Member development.

What Youll Do as a Laundry Maintenance Manager:

  • Manage the maintenance department budget by tracking expenses and overseeing proactive procurement.
  • Manage the procurement inventory and maintenance of tools equipment parts and materials.
  • Lead and coordinate engineering projects preventive maintenance repairs and daily maintenance operations.
  • Develop and maintain departmental schedules to support continuous laundry operations.
  • Lead the maintenance team through clear expectations accountability training and performance management.
  • Lead the Laundry Safety Committee and promote a strong culture of workplace safety.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot commercial laundry equipment including Milnor and Chicago equipment automated rail systems pneumatics and logic controls.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain steam pneumatic hydraulic plumbing electrical mechanical and low-voltage systems within a commercial laundry environment.
  • Inspect equipment and facility systems to identify potential issues safety hazards and opportunities for proactive repairs.
  • Use HotSOS and other technology to document work orders inspections repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Read and interpret blueprints technical data schematics and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
  • Communicate professionally with Team Members leadership vendors and other departments through radios phones email and in person.
  • Perform general custodial and maintenance duties as needed to support laundry operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by resort operations leadership.

Qualifications :

What You Will Bring as a Laundry Maintenance Manager:

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a commercial laundry environment.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial laundry equipment including Milnor and Chicago equipment automated rail systems pneumatics steam hydraulic electrical and mechanical systems.
  • High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree in a maintenance-related field preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical electrical plumbing refrigeration and equipment-related issues.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical data schematics and O&M manuals.
  • Strong organizational communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Minimum of 1 year of computer experience with the ability to use HotSOS and other maintenance technology.
  • OSHA Safety Certification preferred.
  • Valid drivers license required.
  • Trade certifications or licenses in refrigeration plumbing electrical or another major trade preferred.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift carry push and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely work on ladders scaffolds lifts and in confined or tight spaces.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
  • Must be energetic self-motivated detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with Team Members leadership customers and vendors.
