Position Overview

The Laundry Attendantis responsible forensuring a consistent andtimelysupply of clean high-quality linens towels uniforms and guest laundry to support hotel operations and guest satisfaction. This role performs all stages of laundry processing whilemaintainingsafety efficiency and quality standards within the laundry facility.

WhatYoullDo

Laundry Processing & Production

• Perform all stages of linen processing including:
• Sorting soiled linens towels and uniforms by type color and fabric.
• Inspectingitems for stains or damage and applyingappropriate stainremoval or repair procedures.
• Operatingcommercial washing drying and pressing equipment including proper chemical usageand cycleselection.
• Folding stacking and organizing all cleaned linens and uniforms according to hotel standards.
• Ensure all processed items are clean wrinkle-free and in good repair before returning them to circulation.
• Maintainthe cleanliness organization and safety of the laundry facility.
• Perform routine cleaning of equipment such as lint trap removal and report any maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintaininventory levels of clean and soiled linens chemicals and supplies reporting shortages as needed.
• Assistin monthly or periodic laundry inventories.
• Performadditionalduties as assigned; reliable attendance is an essential function of the role.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Ability to stand forlong periodsand lift push or pull heavy loads of wet or dry laundry (2050 lbs.).
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet daily production deadlines.
• Ability to respond quickly to unexpected issues such as stains machine malfunctions or urgent guest needs.
• Effective communication and collaboration with housekeeping front desk and management teams.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents laundry chemicals and the operation of commercial laundry equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Prior hospitality or laundry facility experience preferred.

Other Qualifications

• Must be safety-conscious detail-oriented and quality driven.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage and oversee ones own work.
• Ability to follow all company safety policies and procedures while working in a fast-paced environment.
