Laser Print Operator A Shift Day Shift 500 Sign on Bonus

The Laser Print Operator will set up adjust operate and troubleshoot digital laser printers. This role will be on A Shift Sun-Tue 7:45AM-8PM Wed 7:45AM-2PM.

We are offering a $500 sign on bonus to eligible candidates!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Day to day tasks include but may not be limited to the following:

• Minimizes waste or misuse of raw materials.
• Performs laser print functions by following daily job schedules.
• Completes different tasks on multiple printers within the assigned shift.
• Keeps the work order system up-to-date at all times.
• Ensures quality standards for laser print and finished labels are being met.
• Helps the other members of the team meet production deadlines.
• Places service calls with Xerox for the DP135 and 5252 printers.
• Keeps accurate records of jobs printed within the log book on the printer.
• Performs distribution functions when needed.
• Maintains the inventory levels of preprint items within the production area.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• The job requires standing over 2/3 of the time on a daily basis.
• Requires daily lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Requires close vision (at 20 inches or less) and color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors) for quality control standards.
• Uses hands to finger handle or feel over 2/3 of the time daily. Reaches with hands and arms.

Qualifications :

• 2 years previous laser print experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and at least 2 years previous laser print experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
• The ideal candidate will have previous experience with and certification for Xerox iGen digital printers and/or Xerox DP series printers along with strong production machine set-up operating and troubleshooting experience.
