Landscaper

Bella Ridge Golf Club located in Johnstown CO is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Landscaper! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn contribute and grow within a fastâpaced hospitality-focused property organization. Compensation: $17.00 per hour

General Purpose:

Provides for the care and maintenance of the turf area ornamental trees shrubs bedding plants and flowers.

Essential Duties:

• Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas.
• Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers weed trimmers and utility vehicles.
• Plants trees shrubs turf grass and flowers.
• Prunes and trims trees and shrub.
• Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintains landscape through application of mulch water fertilizer and grooming.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Clubhouse landscaper will also be used on the golf course from time to time.

Education/Experience:

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:

• Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; stoops kneels crouches or crawls; talks or hears. Occasionally sits climbs and balances tastes or smells. Frequently lifts up to 50 pounds.

Environment/Noise:

• Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather); near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles with toxic or caustic chemicals. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Occasionally experiences vibration.

Certificates/Licenses:

• Valid Drivers License

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
