Were searching for a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our environmental laboratory team in Reading PA.
In this role youll be actively engaged in daily laboratory operations supporting critical testing through sample preparation and accurate documentation within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Youll work hands-on with laboratory instrumentation contribute to quality and compliance initiatives and help maintain a safe efficient and well-organized laboratory environment. This position offers the opportunity to strengthen technical expertise collaborate with an experienced team and directly contribute to reliable high-quality results that support essential laboratory operations.
What Youll Do
- Perform sample preparation of environmental samples following established laboratory methods and procedures
- Accurately enter review and maintain sample preparation data within LIMS
- Perform routine quality control activities associated with sample preparation processes
- Follow SOPs QA/QC standards safety protocols and chain-of-custody procedures
- Support laboratory workflow productivity and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with laboratory team members to meet sample throughput and turnaround time objectives
- Assist with housekeeping glassware cleaning and inventory management activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline required; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Previous hands-on lab experience gained through employment internships research projects or academic coursework
- Experience working in fast-paced high-throughput environments strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Outlook) and basic computer applications

- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment
Work Schedule & Travel
- Full-time onsite position
- MondayFriday 8 AM 4:30 PM EST
- Flexibility to work beyond standard hours including evenings holidays and monthly Sunday rotation as required
