Labor & Employment Associate

Join a labor and employment litigation team handling a broad range of California employment matters. You will work directly with partners and clients and take on meaningful case responsibilities from the outset.

• Defend single-plaintiff employment lawsuits involving discrimination harassment retaliation wage and hour issues and reasonable accommodation.
• Handle Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) matters and employment class actions.
• Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs and corporate witnesses.
• Draft and argue dispositive and discovery motions.
• Manage day-to-day case responsibilities and communicate with partners and clients.

• Three to five years of experience in California labor and employment defense litigation.
• A Juris Doctor degree and an active license to practice law in California.
• Experience defending single-plaintiff employment cases PAGA matters and employment class actions.
• Hands-on deposition motion practice and courtroom experience with the ability to manage matters with moderate independence.
• Strong legal research writing and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis.

Annual base salary: $225000 to $245000. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Hybrid role based in Los Angeles California.
