We are currently recruiting for a Lab Tech 1 on 1st shift. Hourly rate $23.00 an hour. shift will be 8 hours for the remainder of 2026. Starting 23027 the shift will be changing to 10-hour shifts 4 days a week.

Lab Tech 1

What You Will Do:

• Follow all safety guidelines and participate as a fully empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents.
• Follow specific instructions to complete assigned tasks and make suggestions for improvement.
• Assist Line operators with start-ups shutdowns and changeovers.
• Check foam density by standardized weights.
• Clean and maintain foaming equipment in assigned work area.
• Adjust machines and make corrections.
• Prepare material for changeovers.
• Pull material off of the plates and feed it through the washer and Dryer.
• Accurately key data into a computer.
• Transact accurately with scan guns.
• Record data into logs.
• Take measurements and perform quality checks on the material.
• Maintain accuracy of all paperwork.

What you will need:

• Ability to stand walk bend stoop and operate machinery continuously.
• Ability to routinely lift objects of 25lbs. and push or pull objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work overtime and flexible hours during high-demand production seasons.
• Knowledge of PC usage is preferred as well as basic data entry operations.
• Fork truck certification is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail.
• 18 years of age.
