Job Summary

Job Title: Lab Support

******: $$$$-25/hr on w2**

Location: 6480 Dobbin Road Columbia MD 21045

Duration: 12 months

Shift: 1^st Shift 7:30 AM 4:00 PM (hours are slightly flexible once trained manager will share the schedule. Flexible work hours to include all shifts weekends and weekdays not to exceed 40 accumulative hours per week)

General requirements:

Lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand for up to 8 hrs.
Familiarity with MS Office Suite.
Familiarity with following SOPs.
Understanding of basic algebra and proportions.

The Roles and Responsibilities below outlines Actalent responsibilities Clients responsibilities and shared responsibilities. Client may transfer Project-related duties and functions to Actalent. Actalent will assume functions and tasks within the framework set by Client as it is intended that these deliverables will be mutual collaboration of both parties.

Actalent Lab Technicians: Follow process and instructions from onsite Columbia Lab Services Manager.

Cleaning services:

glassware
fermenters (vessel & headplate)
lab equipment
general lab cleaning

Fermenter maintenance:
tubing replacement
seal assembly/impeller replacement
pressure relief valve testing & replacement
probe calibration

Glassware maintenance:

tubing replacement

Provide the following support services throughout the site:

lab supply restocking
glassware cleaning
stock media preparation
stock solution preparation
acid base metals and vitamins
bulk autoclave cycle scheduling
consumables ordering assistance
other duties as assigned as time allows
