Job Summary
- Maintain laboratory glassware by washing rinsing drying distributing and storing laboratory materials
- Clean and disinfect workstations equipment and laboratory areas to support a safe working environment
- Prepare label sterilize and organize laboratory supplies tubes equipment and materials
- Support specimen storage sample banking retrieval activities and post-analysis storage processes
- Assist with laboratory equipment maintenance and routine laboratory preparation activities including simple buffer preparation
- Help manage laboratory inventory supply organization and workstation cleanliness
- Follow safety quality regulatory and 6S requirements while maintaining accurate workflow support
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. (Some CAP/CLIA laboratory locations may require an Associate Degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.)
- 6 months of experience at a regulated lab environment
- Basic knowledge of laboratory safety infection control procedures standard precautions and hazardous chemical handling
- Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment instrumentation terminology sterilization decontamination procedures and hazardous waste management
- Other equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers
- Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and support laboratory workflow
- Basic computer skills with strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of safe exposure practices related to chemicals and blood-borne pathogens
- Commitment to continuous learning quality standards and regulatory compliance
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequent standing and walking occasional sitting close eye work requirement (computer typing reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

The potential base pay range for this role when annualized is $25300.00 - $52700.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge skills education and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered incentive plans bonuses and/or other forms of compensation may be offered in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Required Experience:
