Program Overview

Are you inspired by beautiful design that makes everydayliving smarter easier and more sustainable Join Kohlers award-winning teamwhere youll collaborate across disciplines and grow through mentorship fromindustry-leading designers.

As a Lifestyle Design CoOp youll help develop trend-forward insight-drivenconcepts that reflect emerging consumer patterns and the evolving relationshipbetween interior spaces and product design and contribute to early researchvisual storytelling and concept exploration that could inform design directionat a global scale.

WhatYoull Do

• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on trend research data interpretation mood boards and 2D and 3D concept development for lifestyle interiors product and CMF-driven projects.
• Support presentation development by creating visual assets refining digital boards coordinating samples and helping bring ideas to life through clear compelling storytelling.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions research activities and design reviews contributing fresh thinking strong aesthetic awareness and thoughtful perspective to early-stage design exploration.

Skills/Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university-level program in Industrial Design or a related discipline such as environmental design furniture design UX/UI design architecture or a closely related creative field.
• A flexible and dependable creative thinker with a strong eye for spatial experience form detail materiality color and finish.
• Demonstrates proficiency in visual communication digital modeling and spatial rendering with experience in Rhino 3ds Max SolidWorks KeyShot or similar design tools preferred.
• Coursework or hands-on experience in graphic design engineering product design interior design architecture or a related creative discipline is a plus and will help support success in this co-op experience.
