Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Follow detailed recipes and formulations ensuring use of correct and current revision numbers.
- Communicate effectively with staging personnel to ensure timely and accurate delivery of ingredients to the raw prep area.
- Verify ingredient codes and descriptions to confirm alignment with the recipe or formulation.
- Accurately weigh ingredients using balance scales and other measuring equipment.
- Complete batch sheets with correct lot numbers and ingredient codes; apply proper labels using provided stickers.
- Clean and sanitize the weighing and prep areas at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Monitor and perform required checks and quality analyses on raw materials and finished products to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Adhere to all health occupational environmental and food safety regulations and company policies.
- Comply with all aspects of the companys Integrated Management Systems (Production Quality Food Safety GMP etc.).
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a food production environment preferred.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs without assistance and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions.
- Effective multitasking prioritization and time management skills.
- Basic math skills essential for accurate measurement and documentation.
- Proficient in basic computer use (data entry inventory tracking etc.).
- Forklift license required or willingness to obtain one.
