Kia Automotive Technicians

Berman Kia is seeking motivated and enthusiastic experienced technicians to join our dynamic and growing service team! 

Location: Lincolnwood IL
Schedule: Full Time (40 hours/week)
Pay Scale: $20.50 - $47.50/HR (Based on Experience ASE Certifications and/or Training)

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Work on complex repairs including engine transmission and suspension work.
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and report findings to service advisors.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance work are performed according to brand standards and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training programs to continue advancing technical skills and obtain higher certifications.
• Maintain a clean organized and safe workspace adhering to all safety protocols and standards.
• Communicate effectively with the service team to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in an automotive repair setting required.
• ASE Certifications
• Enthusiasm for learning and hands-on technical work is essential.
• Understanding of automotive systems (engine transmission suspension electrical brakes). 
• Ability to work in a team environment follow instructions and take direction from senior technicians.
• Strong attention to detail ability to follow procedures and a willingness to learn and improve problem-solving techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
