The Opportunity

KBR isseekinghighly motivated and talented students to join our Defense & Intel Internship Program. This internship offers hands-on experience professional development and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects that support national security and advanced technology initiatives.

Interns will work alongside experienced professionals on real-world assignments gaining exposure to technical and operational challenges while building valuable skills and industry knowledge. What Youll Do

As a KBR Defense & Intel Intern you may have opportunities to:

• Support engineering technology cybersecurity intelligence operationslogistics science business or program management activities.

• Assistwith research analysis design development testing integration or process improvement efforts.

• Contribute to projects that address real-world customer challenges and mission requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and deliver project objectives.

• Analyze data prepare reports and communicate findings to project teams and leadership.

• Participate in technical reviews team meetings and professional development activities.

• Gain exposure to industry tools technologies and best practices relevant to your area of study.

• Present project outcomes and recommendations to stakeholders at the conclusion of the internship.

Basic Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.

• Rising Sophomore Junior Senior Masters or PhD student.

• Pursuing a degree in a relevant field including but not limited to:

• Engineering (all disciplines)

• Computer Science

• Software Engineering

• Cybersecurity

• Data Science

• Information Technology

• Mathematics

• Physics

• Business Administration

• Supply Chain Management

• Program Management

• Other related technical or business disciplines

• Strong analytical problem-solving andcritical-thinkingskills.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Demonstrated initiative leadership potential and willingness to learn.

• Proficiencywith common computer applications and collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship research project laboratory leadership or relevant work experience.

• Strong academic performance anddemonstratedcommitment to personal and professional growth.

• Interestin defense intelligence space cybersecurity engineering technology or government mission support.

• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

• Possessa currentTS/SCI security clearance.

Security Requirements

Some internship opportunities may require the ability to obtain andmaintaina U.S. Government security clearance. Eligibility requirements and clearance levels will vary based on the specific position customer and work location.

Work Schedule

• Full-time internship opportunities are available during the summer.

• Part-time opportunities may be available during the academic year based on businessneedand location.

Compensation

• $18 - $35 / hour

• The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates location degree type and area of study and year in school.
