K-6 In-Person Reading, Writing, and Math Tutor

Job Title: K6 Academic Tutor

Location: Huntington Learning Center Cedar Park/North Austin TX and Round Rock TX
Position Type: Part-time

Huntington Learning Center is dedicated to helping students achieve their academic potential through personalized instruction and proven teaching methods. We work with students from kindergarten through high school providing support in reading writing math study skills and test preparation. Our goal is to help every student gain the skills confidence and motivation needed for long-term success.

We are currently hiring a K-6 Academic Tutor who is passionate about helping students grow in both language arts and math fundamentals. In this role youll work with students one-on-one or in small groups (maximum of 4:1 ratio) focusing onreading comprehension writing grammar vocabulary and elementary/middle school math skillsincluding topics such as number sense fractions word problems and pre-algebra. • • Deliver personalized instruction in reading writing and elementary-level math
  • Reinforce foundational skills such as vocabulary grammar spelling math fluency and problem-solving
  • Support students as they develop strong academic habits and school readiness skills
  • Implement Huntingtons structured curriculum and instructional plans
  • Foster a positive encouraging learning environment that motivates student success

• • Bachelors degree required (Education or a related field preferred)
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience
  • Ability to teach both language arts and foundational math concepts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient flexible and supportive approach to working with students
  • Passion for helping students build confidence and achieve their goals
