Position Overview
Polytechnic School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Junior Varsity Boys Soccer Coach to lead student-athletes in skill development teamwork and sportsmanship while upholding the values and standards of Poly Athletics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead practices drills and conditioning sessions tailored to the JV level

• Develop and implement game strategy lineups and in-game coaching decisions

• Foster a positive safe and supportive team culture for all student-athletes

• Communicate effectively with players parents and school administration

• Engage robustly in fostering diversity equity and inclusion to promote a healthy learning environment

• Monitor student-athlete eligibility conduct and well-being in coordination with school staff

• Coordinate with the Varsity coaching staff to ensure continuity of program philosophy and player development

• Willingness to take on other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Prior coaching or playing experience in soccer at the high school collegiate or club level preferred

• Demonstrated experience creating inclusive learning environments and opportunities

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work effectively with adolescents and support their athletic and personal growth

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Background check clearance required
