Junior Designer, Design Team

Marcom is the creatively-led global team that oversees Apples consumer facing marketing. We ensure the flawless development and execution of world-class communications across all medias and platforms. Every day hundreds of millions of Apple customers around the world interact with our products. We drive the strategy and creative work that provide both new and existing customers with simple engaging and inspiring marketing Design Team is responsible for the design and art direction of core communicationsincluding product launches and seasonal campaignsthat appear across the Apple ecosystem. Working in a highly collaborative manner a primary focus of the Design Team is to define the look and feel of all Apple product imagery through experimentation critical thinking and extraordinary attention to detail.

The Junior Designer is an integral member of the team creating innovative and compelling work from ideation to this role you will become instrumental in developing work that inspires the customers for one of the most beloved brands.

You will brainstorm coordinate and collaborate frequently in order to bring to life Apples key elements of design and art the direction of senior staff executing graphic design layouts graphics and systems. Contributing to Apple graphic design projects from conception to multitasking on design projects that require creative problem solving robust craft and a high attention to to adapt quickly to new information and creative direction to apply it to design presentations and deliverables.

0-1 year of graphic design experience with a working knowledge of the principles of graphic design branding and art internship(s) group or personal project exposure and/or similar working experience with a design focusnA portfolio of work exhibiting design branding and/or art direction skills with design software primarily the Adobe Creative or BFA degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

You are curious and passionate about design with a keen awareness of the evolving landscape of available tools technologies resources and are a motivated and driven designer that collaborates well with a team to find simple solutions to complex to articulate ideas in a clear manner engage in healthy debate and accept directional to produce design projects with sharp written and verbal communication organization and attention to with utilizing emerging technologies in the design process such as AR/VR spatial computing or generative design 4D 3D software and animation skills are a plus.
