Job Summary

The Jr. Analytics Engineer is an entry-level role that supports the development and maintenance of datasolutions that empower business decision-making and reporting across the organization. This rolecombines technical curiosity with a strong interest in data modeling ETL development and data role has the opportunity to learn and grow within a collaborative data team.

Essential Functions

Description

  • Assists in building and maintaining efficient and reliable data pipelines usingSQL and ETL tools.
  • Supports integration transformation and validation of data from multiple sources.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of data models that support reporting and business intelligence use cases.
  • Assists in the creation and support of data visualizations and dashboards using BI tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
  • Collaborates with analysts stakeholders and data owners to gather and define data requirements.
  • Helps monitor and ensure data quality and accuracy through validation routines and troubleshooting.
  • Supports automation and scripting tasks to enhance data workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Participates in documenting data processes business logic and workflows for internal use and knowledge sharing.
  • Learns and applies best practices in data governance version control and analytics engineering workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in a quantitative or technicalfield (e.g. DataAnalytics Computer Science InformationSystems Business) or equivalent experience required.
  • Demonstrated experience working with data through internships coursework or personal projects.

Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform theessential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Foundational knowledge of SQL and interest in developing technical skills in data querying andtransformation.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as Python. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Enthusiasm for a career in data engineering analytics or business intelligence.

Base Salary: $75000 - $78250 yearly

The salary range posted for this position represents the anticipated hiring range for this role. Offers are made within this range based on factors such as relevant experience skills education internal equity and market considerations. This is the hiring range for the position; compensation above the posted maximum is not typically available at the time of hire.

Work Location:Hybrid

This role is based in the Portland OR area and follows a hybrid work model. Employees are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of our Portland office and generally work on-site four days per week with flexibility based on business and team needs.
