Work Hours: Full-time
Compensation: $19.50 per hour
Primary Location: Temecula

You show up to work knowing your job is to help someone else succeed at theirs.
Youll support an individual at their place of employment by providing guidance encouragement and just the right amount of support to help them confidently navigate their workday. You might help them learn new tasks understand workplace routines communicate with coworkers stay organized or problem-solve when something doesnt go as planned.
The goal Supportnot take over. Youll encourage independence build confidence and gradually help the individual do more on their own while respecting their role as an employee.
Some days youll celebrate a new skill. Other days youll help work through a challenge. And sometimes your biggest accomplishment will be knowing when to step back and let them shine.
Youre not there to do the job for them. Youre there to help them succeed at doing it themselves.
Youll use your personal vehicle to transport the individual you support. Mileage for approved work-related travel is reimbursed at the current IRS rate.
Supported Employment (SE) Program Highlights
- Make an Impact: Help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build confidence independence and meaningful careers.
- Personalized Coaching: Provide 1:1 support for individual placements and 1:3 support for group placements.
- On-the-Job Support: Coach individuals directly in integrated community workplaces while helping them learn and succeed.
- Career Development: Support career exploration resume building interview preparation job placement and workplace skills.
- Build Connections: Partner with individuals and local employers to create meaningful lasting employment opportunities.
- Quality-Focused Program: Work within a CARF-certified program committed to safety quality and individualized support.
Job Specific Essential Duties
- Train support and monitor clients while in the community.
- Participate in the development of a circle of support to build relationships with family friends neighbors and other community.
- Develop individualized adaptive support materials as needed.
- Develop and expand clients participation in integrated employment activities.
- Assist with development and implementation of clients annual plan goals and objectives
- Participate in clients annual Individualized Program Plan (IPP) meeting
- Provide same day shift coverage as requested by supervisor.

Minimum Experience andQualifications
- Education: High School Diploma/GED
- Experience:1 year working in social services education or with the developmentally disabled population preferred
- Driving:3 years driving experience; own vehicle for transportation; willing to drive up to 3 clients in your personal vehicle at once (mileage reimbursed at current IRS rate)
