Job Description

We are looking for aJavaDeveloperto support the analysis design development testing maintenance and enhancement of enterprise applications. This position will befull-time 1 year contractandhybrid.

What Youll Do

• Develop backend services and enterprise applications usingJavaSpring BootJ2EE and related technologies
• Participate in application analysis design coding testing maintenance enhancement and production support activities
• Build and maintain server-side rendered user interfaces usingThymeleaf
• Collaborate with Business Analysts Architects developers and stakeholders to deliver secure scalable and high-quality software solutions
• Gather analyze and document business and functional requirements
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications user stories use cases process flows and acceptance criteria
• Manage source code and participate in code reviews and branch management activities usingGit
• Build maintain and supportCI/CD pipelinesutilizingAzure DevOpsAWS DevOpstools or similar technologies
• Design develop and maintain relational database schemas with an emphasis on normalization validation and data integrity
• Support deployment activities and perform basic server administration functions
• Contribute to front-end development usingHTMLandCSS
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and technical issues

What Youll Need

Required:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 7 years of hands-on experience withJavaObject-Oriented ProgrammingSpring BootJ2EE and related backend development frameworks
• 7 years of experience usingMavenor similar build and dependency management tools
• 5 years of experience usingGitversion control systems
• 5 years of experience working withCI/CD pipelinesandDevOps practices
• 5 years of experience withHTMLandCSS
• 5 years experience withThymeleaf
• 3 years of experience working with relational databases includingPostgreSQLorRDSenvironments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to software quality

Preferred:

• 5 years of experience performingrequirements gathering business analysis anduser story development
• 5 years of experience creatinguse case documentationand business process flows
• Successful completion of an IT certification program accredited college training and/or graduate-level technology education
• Full-time professional experience developing and supporting enterprise IT applications
