Job Title: Java Developer - Hybrid

Job Description:
As a Java Developer you will design develop and maintain scalable high-performance applications in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to build innovative solutions support critical systems and contribute to architectural design and strategic planning. This role requires strong expertise in Java-based technologies cloud platforms and modern development practices to ensure quality efficiency and timely delivery of enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a senior developer and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time
• Design and develop scalable applications using Java Spring Framework and web services
• Create architectural diagrams technical documentation and design specifications
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure code quality
• Collaborate with business analysts to gather and refine business and technical requirements
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups and retrospectives
• Architect and implement solutions aligned with organizational goals and standards
• Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices within the team
• Manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a dynamic environment
• Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps practices
• Drive process improvements scalability and automation initiatives

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• 8 10 years of experience in Java development including Spring Framework and web services (REST/SOAP)
• Experience developing high-volume highly available enterprise systems
• 3 5 years of experience designing and developing complex enterprise solutions
• Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and SDLC practices
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices
• Experience using tools such as Bitbucket Bamboo Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
• Experience with databases such as SQL Server MongoDB and messaging systems like RabbitMQ
• Ability to create architectural diagrams and technical documentation
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders
• Experience working with distributed teams including offshore collaboration
• Ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly
• Strong focus on scalability performance and continuous improvement

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
