Job description
We are looking for a senior Java Developer with strong experience in Capital Markets Equities Trading and Financial Services. The candidate will develop high-performance Java applications supporting trading order management trade processing and real-time market data platforms.
Must-Have Skills
Java development experience.
Strong Core Java Java 8/11 Spring Boot Spring MVC and Microservices.
Experience with Equities Trading Electronic Trading OMS EMS or Trade Processing.
Strong understanding of trade lifecycle order management execution allocation and settlement.
Experience with real-time market data and event-driven architectures.
Strong SQL and experience with Oracle SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
REST APIs and system integrations.
Messaging technologies such as Kafka JMS or RabbitMQ.
Strong knowledge of multithreading concurrency performance tuning and scalable design.
Linux/Unix and Git.
CI/CD DevOps and containerization experience.
Agile development experience.
Design and develop Java applications supporting Equities Trading and Capital Markets.
Build scalable solutions for trade processing order management and market data.
Develop microservices and REST APIs.
Integrate trading applications with market data providers and internal systems.
Build real-time data processing solutions using messaging and event-driven architecture.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Improve application performance reliability and scalability.
Collaborate with Trading Operations Risk Front Office and business teams.
Support platform modernization and trade lifecycle initiatives.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and production deployments.
Maintain technical documentation and follow security and development standards.
