Janitorial Position

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to fill a vital spot in our staff. We are hoping to find a reliable and skilled person who understands the importance that the role cleaner/janitor plays in an building.

The person we would like to give this opportunity to should have strong communication skills be able to prioritize tasks and posses both a proactive and reactive mindset. We like to keep our environment tidy and very well-organized we expect from our future Cleaner/Janitor to take complete responsibility for helping us achieve this.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Oversee daily commercial or industrial cleaning tasks and maintain service quality.

• Staff Leadership: Hire train supervise and evaluate janitorial and supervisory personnel.

• Quality & Safety Control: Conduct regular site inspections and enforce health and safety regulations.

• Inventory & Budgeting: Manage cleaning supplies equipment maintenance

General Manager is also responsible for coverage of a Janitorial Cleaner:

• Cleaning building floors (vacuuming mopping scrubbing sweeping)

• Gathering and emptying trash

• Clean service and resupply restrooms

• Clean windows mirrors and other glass surfaces

• Moving and ordering supplies

• Informing managers about required repair and maintenance activities

• Maintaining tools and equipment needed for Cleaner/Janitor duties

• Requiring supplies of the tools and equipment needed for Cleaner/Janitor duties

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

• Must have proven working experience as Cleaner/Janitor

• Must know and follow sanitation procedures

• Must be able to respond and act quickly

• Must have strong communication and multitasking skills

• Must have knowledge of cleaning equipment chemicals and supplies

Qualifications & Salary

• Experience: Usually requires 3 to 5 years of management experience in commercial cleaning facilities or custodial operations.

• Skills: Strong leadership problem-solving and familiarity with cleaning technology and safety documentation

Position/Job schedule:

Monday-Friday 2pm-12am (until the Job is done)

Possibility Of working Saturday or Sunday as needed
