Janitor

Company:

Boeing Defense Space and Security is seeking a skilled and detail-orientedJanitor to join their team. This position will support the Ridley Park PA location.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform duties to ensure common areas and offices are clean and sanitary.
• Clean deposit trash and move recycles to designated areas for disposition. Scrub sweep polish floors walls office furniture and remove waste.
• Clean washrooms and maintain supplies of soap towels and cleaning items
• Store hand trucks mop buckets and other equipment in an orderly fashion and in designated locations.
• Clean partitions and windows and polish metal ornamental surfaces. Perform general housekeeping operations.
  Use all tools materials equipment and instruments necessary in the performance of the work of this classification.
• Perform work in accordance with oral or written instructions and in conformance with Company standards of safety workmanship and good housekeeping practice.
• Must have the ability to safely operate standard janitorial tools and equipment after receiving appropriate training.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Basic Qualification (Required):

• Must have a Valid Drivers License
• Must have the ability to stand bend reach kneel push and pull for the duration of the shift.
• Must have the ability to lift/carry up to 35 pounds and push/pull using up to 45 pounds of force.
• Must have the ability to work 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM)
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous commercial industrial custodial or janitorial experience.

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This is an hourly position governed by the UAW Collective Bargaining agreement.

Starting Pay Range:

$19.43 per hour
