Job Summary
We are looking for janitorial staff to join our growing team - This position will float between one of our 40 care homes in Genesee County deep-cleaning our homes and facilities.

While performing the duties of this job the employeeis regularly required tosit stand bend reach with hands and arms to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; to talk and hear; andfrequentlyrequiredto walk and move about the facility. The employeeis occasionally required tostoop and/or kneel. The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds or more. May involve travel to other locations/agencies/meetings. May require evening weekend and holiday hours.
Qualifications:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform deep cleaning of all areas within AFC homes including resident rooms common areas bathrooms kitchens and hallways
- Operate and maintain floor scrubbers carpet extractors and other cleaning equipment
- Sweep mop vacuum strip wax and buff floors as required
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces and disinfect all areas to control the spread of bacteria and viruses
- Empty and dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately
- Report maintenance or safety issues to supervisor promptly
- Follow all health and safety regulations infection control protocols and company cleaning standards

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma orGED
- Prior supervisory experience
- Valid drivers license
- Reliable transportation
- Previouscustodial/janitorial experience (preferred)
