The IT Technician provides professional and technical expertise to support enterprise technology services ensuring alignment with OSU/A&M System goals compliance requirements and departmental priorities. This position is responsible for performing specialized operational technical or analytical tasks within the assigned domain.

The IT Technician is an entry-level role designed for individuals beginning their careers in information technology. You will gain hands-on experience across a wide range of IT domainsincluding hardware troubleshooting software installation customer service and operations. Team members rotate through different service areas developing versatile skills with support from training and mentorship programs.

• High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
• Certifications Registrations and/or Licenses:
  • Valid Drivers License required.
• Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
  • Must be able to life at least 50 pounds.

• Skills Proficiencies and/or Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with Windows Mac Android or iOS is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Critical thinking and customer service attitude.
  • Ability to work well under stressful conditions.
