IT Support Technician PC Maintenance

Seeking an IT Support Technician with expertise in PC maintenance to join our team and help maintain our computer systems and user support services.

The IT Support Technician will maintain analyze troubleshoot and repair computer systems hardware and peripherals. This role involves supporting user accounts installing hardware and software and collaborating with vendors to ensure system functionality.

• PAY RANGE: $20.00

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain user account information including rights security and systems groups.
• Perform routine analysis and problem solving of network or PC software hardware or peripherals.
• Contact and coordinate with hardware or software vendors for service when necessary.
• Install computer hardware software and peripherals for new employees.
• Install new software packages and upgrades.
• May control password assignment.
• Assist in the development of system documentation and procedure manuals as needed.
• Facilitate and conduct training sessions for employees on software and hardware systems.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent preferred.
• General knowledge of a wide variety of software hardware and PC operating systems preferred.
