Job Summary
This is a remote position.
- Provide timely and effective technical support to healthcare staff including physicians nurses and administrative personnel.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware software network and peripheral issues across desktops laptops mobile devices and medical equipment.
- Install configure and maintain workstations printers and other end-user devices in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Assist in the deployment and management of operating systems applications and security updates across the organization.
- Monitor and respond to helpdesk tickets via the IT service management platform ensuring timely resolution and user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with IT team members to maintain system backups disaster recovery protocols and cybersecurity safeguards.
- Document technical issues solutions and procedures to build and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.
- Support the implementation of new technologies and system upgrades with minimal disruption to clinical and administrative workflows.
- Ensure all IT activities comply with HIPAA and other healthcare data privacy and security regulations.
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 01 year of experience in IT support helpdesk or technical customer service roles.
- Strong understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems Microsoft Office Suite and basic networking concepts.
- Familiarity with healthcare IT systems such as EHR (Electronic Health Records) practice management software or medical device integration is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA cybersecurity best practices and data privacy principles.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional evenings or weekends to support critical system operations.
Required Skills:
