DPP is seeking an IT Project Manager for an opportunity with our client in the healthcare insurance industry.
Work Location: Hybrid in Columbia SC; onsite Tues Wed Thurs
Duration: 12 months
Terms: W2 Contract
Work Authorization: US Citizen; must be able to obtain/maintain a low-level (Public Trust) clearance

About the Team:
- The team is comprised of 6 project managers (4 FTEs 2 Contractors.) All have been with the company for more than 10 years.
- The overall team are a bunch of self-starters and work independently of each but they all have a good collaborative working relationship.
- Leading multiple IT related efforts.
- Working with customers project teams vendors and management to plan schedule and implement solutions to meet our customers requirements.
- Responsible for all phases of the project life cycle.
- Daily tasks include scheduling and leading meetings reporting status of efforts to all levels of stakeholders.
- Creation or updating of appropriate documentation and most importantly problem solving.
- Bachelors Degree or 4 years of job-related work experience;
- OR 2 years of job-related experience plus an associates degree in any major.
- 3 years IT experience in a leadership capacity on one or more project teams.
- Completion of the Training Program for Project Management may substitute for one year of work experience.
- PMP certification is a plus but not required.
