Contract to hire Operating Partner pathway (CIO / digital track)
You will judge whether the targets systems can support the deal thesis and whether a breach is waiting to industrial targets that means both enterprise IT and the plant floor.

You will judge whether the targets systems can support the deal thesis and whether a breach is waiting to industrial targets that means both enterprise IT and the plant floor.
What youll do
- Inventory infrastructure applications ERP MES and cloud environments.
- Audit software licenses for compliance transferability and hidden cost.
- Assess cybersecurity controls incident history and data security protocols.
- Review OT and industrial control system security a key risk in manufacturing and smart factories.
- Check regulatory frameworks such as CMMC NIST 800-171 SOC 2 HIPAA or FDA data integrity rules.
- Estimate technical debt separation or carve-out costs and required capex.
- Plan Day 1 IT readiness TSAs and Industry 4.0 / digital transformation opportunities.
- After close lead systems integration and cybersecurity remediation.
- 8 years in IT leadership IT advisory or cybersecurity; prior M&A or carve-out experience.
- Working knowledge of ERP (SAP Oracle Epicor or similar) and manufacturing systems.
- Certifications such as CISSP CISM or CISA preferred.
- Ability to turn technical risk into cost timeline and deal-term recommendations.
