IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst

Job Summary
The Opportunity:
Join our IT Asset Management (ITAM) team and play a key role in keeping our technology environment running smoothly securely and efficiently. As an ITAM Analyst youll help ensure that the hardware and software powering our business is accurately tracked responsibly managed and fully aligned with enterprise standards. Youll work closely with teams across the organization gain exposure to core IT functions and continuously improve the processes that support business continuity and operational excellence. This is a great role for someone who enjoys problemsolving collaboration and making a meaningful impact on IT operations.
Responsibilities:
- Process IT asset requests according to established workflows and service-level expectations.
- Perform computer imaging and prepare enduser devices for deployment.
- Review and reconcile physical and digital inventory to identify and correct discrepancies.
- Partner with Cybersecurity Purchasing Field Services and other teams to support asset governance and lifecycle management.
- Maintain accurate uptodate CMDB and discovery data.
- Support audits lifecycle refresh cycles stockroom organization and compliance initiatives.
- Recommend and implement improvements to ITAM processes documentation and operational standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Experience in IT Asset Management IT operations or technical support.
- Understanding of hardware and software lifecycle processes.
- Ability to analyze data identify inconsistencies and solve operational problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
- Familiarity with CMDB concepts and inventory management practices.
Desired:
- Strong analytical and dataquality evaluation skills.
- Experience with ServiceNow particularly HAM SAM or ITAM modules.
- Understanding of ITIL v4 practices.
- Advanced documentation reporting or dashboardbuilding abilities.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including but not limited to geographic location Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates relevant prior work experience specific skills and competencies education and certifications.
