Job Summary | Under direct supervision Student Assistants perform duties ranging from unskilled to skilled or specialized in various positions that typically require manual clerical and public contact. Assignments have limited use of discretion and judgment. Work is regularly reviewed by department staff and may include detailed instructions to be followed for best results. The ISDS department defines specific job duties they include but are not limited to: filing answering questions via walk-ins or by phone sorting picking up and/or delivering campus mail and stocking and maintaining the inventory of office supplies. |
Minimum Qualifications | Ability to learn and perform assigned work; follow oral instructions; work cooperatively with faculty staff and other students; communicate effectively with all levels; and read and write English at a level appropriate to the position. |
