Terran Orbital is seeking an experienced IPT Lead Module Manufacturing Electrical Power Systems to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Product Director Electrical Power Systems the IPT Lead EPS Module Manufacturing will oversee end-to-end battery pack production with a focus on quality and on time delivery.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of technicians and manufacturing engineers.
• Drive process improvements in area of material handling production line improvements and test management as well as identify key areas for 6S improvements and implementation.
• Work with cross-functional leadership on material ordering planning and test software development.
• Work with quality to implement control improvements and disposition of non-conformance hardware.
• Mentor and support engineering staff in areas of depth of knowledge manufacturing standards and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain production reporting dashboards including material tracking deliveries yield rates and be able to showcase improvements over time.
• Support new product introductions and pilot builds by establishing repeatable processes and clear documentation.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering.
• 10 years experience working in a manufacturing environment developing key build procedures and at least 2 years experience managing manufacturing teams.
• Experience with welding equipment regarding battery pack production and safety.
• Experience implementing 6S process improvements.
• Experience reporting on key production metrics to leadership as well as developing dashboard trackers.
• Experience with manufacturing software such as AEGIS or Manufacturo as well as MES and ERP tools.
• U.S. Person or lawful permanent resident to comply with U.S. government space technology export regulations.

Physical Demands
