Advanced Infrared Solutions (AIRS) formerly American Infrared Solutions was acquired by Anduril Industries in 2025 and now operates as part of the Imaging Business Line. For more than 10 years AIRS has designed and built world-class high-performance cooled infrared cameras and subsystems including critical components such as Integrated Dewar Cooler Assemblies (IDCAs). From its site in Hudson NH AIRS is expanding to supply these critical components both internally to Andurils Imaging products and externally to serve as a merchant supplier to the broader defense space and commercial industrial base. Growing the external merchant supplier business alongside internal production is a core strategic priority for the Business Line.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to oversee our warehouse inventory accuracy and material this role you will play a critical part in keeping our systems and physical inventory aligned executing cycle counts and collaborating with our production and purchasing teams. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in manufacturing operations excellent communication skills and a continuous-improvement mindset to help us optimize our processes.

WHAT YOULL DO:

  • Support the receipt identification and documentation of inventory.
  • Support the shipping & receipt identification and documentation of inventory.
  • Ensure inventory stock levels and locations in the physical inventory locations match corresponding quantities and locations in the ERP system.
  • Responsible for inventory accuracy Cycle Counts and physical space optimization.
  • Execute cycle counting process between Physical Inventory and the ERP system.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing and Production teams regarding inventory counts and locations.
  • Improve processes to address root causes of discrepancies preventing recurrence.
  • Supply the production floor with needed materials (daily kitting) per the monthly Production Plan.
  • Perform mechanical inspection of incoming and in-stock materials including dimensional verification using calipers and other precision measurement tools and material composition analysis using XRF equipment.
  • Operate pre-programmed CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) routines to verify part conformance and support quality documentation efforts.
  • Must be able to lift/carry/handle/transport up to 50lbs (unassisted).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of High school or vocational school diploma.
  • 5 years experience in Material Management Manufacturing Operations or related field
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience with mechanical inspection tools (calipers XRF CMM)
  • Hands on attitude and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word Excel PowerPoint
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

US Salary Range

$28 - $36 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience education and/or training critical skills and/or business considerations.
