What Drives Success

As an Inventory Optimization Analyst you will partner with Sales Product Management Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams to support inventory stocking strategies across the distribution network. Leveraging data analysis and inventory planning expertise you will help maintain optimal inventory levels improve product availability and support business and working capital objectives through actionable insights and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply advanced statistical analysis data insights and business knowledge to optimize inventory parameters and improve inventory performance.
  • Develop and maintain inventory assortment strategies to ensure the right products are available in the right locations.
  • Establish performance standards metrics and reporting to monitor inventory results against business objectives.
  • Work closely with Supply and Demand Planning teams to maintain and optimize key inventory parameters that drive planning and execution systems.
  • Support the communication and alignment of inventory assortment service level and working capital objectives with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory efficiency reduce excess and obsolete inventory and optimize working capital while maintaining appropriate product availability.
  • Prepare inventory analyses and provide insights to support inventory planning and business decisions
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Finance Analytics or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience; masters degree preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of inventory optimization and supply chain best practices.
  • Ability to analyze large data sets and apply appropriate statistical and analytical methods.
  • Understanding of how inventory decisions impact sales working capital costs and inventory performance.
  • Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management principles and inventory planning.
  • Excellent problem-solving decision-making and continuous improvement skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate and work within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel Word PowerPoint and Access.
  • Working knowledge of SAP ECC; experience with SAP APO or similar planning systems preferred.
  • Experience with inventory optimization tools such as SO99 i2 Manugistics or similar platforms preferred.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools such as SPSS Minitab or similar software.
  • Understanding of multi-echelon inventory optimization and ability to analyze optimization results and recommend adjustments.
  • Understanding of lot-size optimization models and ability to evaluate results and recommend improvements.
What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $77400 - 92400annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Companys applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
