Position Summary
The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels by performing regular cycle counts investigating discrepancies and ensuring inventory integrity within the warehouse.

Essential Functions

Perform daily cycle counts on assigned inventory locations.
Identify research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
Work closely with warehouse purchasing and production teams to correct issues.
Ensure proper labeling and organization of inventory.
Assist with physical inventory counts as needed.
Receiving and shipping support: Unpack count verify incoming shipment and assist with outgoing orders as needed.
Follow company safety and operational procedures.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred.
Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with ERP or Inventory Management programs preferred.
Familiarity with barcode scanners and RF devised a plus.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft word excel powerpoint outlook teams)
Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

Work hours M-F 8:00am-4:30pm.
Overtime may be required during inventory counts or peak periods.
Ability to stand walk bend squat and sit for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 60lbs on occasion using safe lifting practices.
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment as required.
Ability to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with concrete flooring and varying temperatures.
