Inventory Control Coordinator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform inventory control transactions within the MRP system including:
• Process and maintain accurate inventory records and data entry activities.
• Research inventory transactions and resolve discrepancies within the MRP system.
• Review planning and inventory information to support material availability and operational requirements.
• Assist with receiving raw material inventory finished goods inventory hardware inventory and internal shop transfers.
• Maintain electronic records and filing systems for inventory shipping and operational documentation.
• Support packing and shipping activities as workload and business needs require.
• Coordinate with production shipping and inventory personnel to ensure timely and accurate material movement.
• Follow established inventory control procedures and company policies.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience in inventory control material handling shipping receiving warehouse operations or a related manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with an MRP/ERP system preferred.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Working knowledge of inventory control principles and material transactions.
• Ability to accurately enter maintain and audit inventory data.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficient with computer systems and data entry.
• Ability to independently manage assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing business needs.
• Willingness to support various operational functions and departmental priorities as directed.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand walk bend and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently lift and move materials up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance as needed.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
