Job Summary

  • The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for inventory-related functions to maintain accurate records of raw materials and finished goods supporting the Manufacturing and Quality departments.
  • Schedule: MondayFriday 2:30 PM10:30 PM.
  • Candidate must be flexible to work weekends if requested (no exceptions).
  • 10-panel drug screening required (must be completed within 48 hours of job offer acceptance). Candidate will receive 2 weeks of training.
  • Climate-controlled environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing material transactions (receiving shipping transferring counting of raw materials and finished goods); generate ERP system reports as needed
  • Reconcile discrepancies between perpetual inventory records and actual physical counts
  • Conduct periodic cycle counts as directed by management to ensure system integrity
  • Assist in investigating anomalies found during daily activities or cycle counts
  • Coordinate destruction of obsolete excess or unusable materials as directed by management
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience

  • Previous work experience with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite required (no exceptions)
  • Forklift experience required - minimum 6 months
  • Previous inventory clerk experience in a manufacturing environment - first preference

Key Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
  • Strong math skills
  • Forklift operation
  • Reading/writing English-language documentation
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes - preferred
  • Excellent communication skills

Eligibility & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Steel toe or composite shoes required
  • Must clear all background checks and drug screening before starting
