We have a variety of meaningful assignments that allow students to gain valuable experience in process design in an engineering environment. The assignments provide students with opportunities to develop by integrating classroom theory with practical work and to demonstrate their skills for future career opportunities at Elessent. The Internship period is an approximate 10-week Intern will work collaboratively with our teams to provide support and assistance with requests in support of the business strategy. Assist with tasks that may include filing scanning data entry documentation and PowerPoint presentations. Assist with responses to general questions. Participate in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data. Research solutions to project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems. Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers. All other duties as : Pursuit of a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related degree from an ABET-accredited program. Completed at least the first semester of their Junior year. Currently enrolled and in good standing in a post-secondary education and/or technical certificate program in a field related to the work done in the department. A minimum of a 3.0 GPA is strongly preferred. Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred. Actively involved in campus community or other volunteer activities or organizations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook. Demonstrated leadership skills. Self-motivated and eager learner with an aptitude to grow and develop within the field.
