We are looking for a software engineer who is passionate about languages someone who is empathetic and wants to create solutions for customers across a wide variety of languages and locales! nnYou can check out some recent WWDC talks that showcase the Internationalization teams work here: nnBuild multilingual-ready apps: nnGet started with Writing Tools: mission is to make the input experienceusing Keyboard Dictation Apple Pencil inclusive and accessible for everyone regardless of what languages they use or what background they come from.

Write code for Input Methods for various languages such as Chinese Hindi Japanese Korean Tamil Vietnamese and develop Keyboard Layouts for over 100 at the forefront of the user experience for input coupled with Apple Intelligence including Writing with different teamssuch as Accessibility Hardware Human Interface NLP Privacy solve both design and engineering challenges and ensure that the next generation of experiences can reach all Apple to the wider internationalization community both within and outside of Apple such as the open-source CLDR project.

3 years of experience in software engineeringnBS or MS in Computer Science or a related field

Programming ability in a C-like dialect (Java C C Objective-C Swift etc.)nUnderstanding of algorithms data structures and coding standardsnFamiliar with unit testing with a strong focus on high-quality softwarenPassion for language and for improving Apples productsnFamiliarity with internationalization and Unicode
