Job Summary
AECOM is hosting an exclusive invitation-only hiring event in Boston on October 21-22 2026. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2027.
The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects career paths and the company itself. Youll also have the chance to meet other students recent graduates and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.
On Thursday interviews will take place at our Boston office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Intern with experience in the areas of Remediation for employment in the Rocky Hill CT office. AECOM is searching for candidates who will be a role model self-motivated client-focused impactful and decisive.

The job responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Utilize basic scientific and technical principles theories practices and existing technologies to assist in developing solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
- Conduct field assignments such as: soil groundwater surface water and/or soil-gas/indoor air sampling remediation and construction oversight soil/bedrock drilling oversight under the supervision of an experienced engineer or scientist.
- Interpret and record analytical and field data perform data analysis assist with data visualization tasks and compare findings to relevant studies and local state and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
- Assist with preparation of technical reports summarizing findings and recommending remedial actions.
- Work under supervision of a project manager technical lead or other experienced team member.
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in relevant scientific discipline (e.g. Environmental Engineering Environmental Science Geology or other related field)
- Must have completed 2 years of study
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of environmental data collection identification investigation and data entry
- Proficiency in standard Microsoft office suite software applications
- Strong organizational time-management and written and verbal communication skills
- GIS and other data interpretation software skills are desirable (e.g. R Grapher Surfer etc.)
