Civil Engineering Summer Intern

Zachrys Summer Engineering Internship Program gives university students handson exposure to engineering in an EPC (Engineering Procurement & Construction) environment. Interns work directly with experienced engineers designers and project teams who develop solutions for complex industrial facilities including power generation refining chemicals manufacturing and major industrial infrastructure.

Interns will support active engineering and construction projects while gaining exposure to field operations design coordination and project execution workflows. This program is designed to help students explore their discipline in a real project environment and begin building their professional engineering identity.

At Zachry Group our civil and structural engineers are foundational to every major projectdesigning the infrastructure foundations and structural systems that ensure industrial facilities are safe resilient and built to last.

What Youll Do

Support design of foundations structural steel and reinforced concrete systems
Assist in developing site development deliverables including grading drainage and roadway plans
Conduct basic structural and civil calculations under the supervision of licensed engineers

Check structural steel and concrete shop drawings
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support detailed design efforts
Perform field walkdowns to understand constructability site constraints and asbuilt conditions
