Position Summary
This is a newly designed position. We have deliberately shaped it around the execution side of our interior work and we expect it to grow. The person who takes this role will have a genuine hand in
building it refining how projects are coordinated shaping the tools and processes we use and expanding the roles scope around their strengths as the team matures. We are looking for someone who sees that as an opportunity: a chance to make a role their own rather than inherit a finished script with a clear path toward Interior Project Manager as the position and the person develop.
Our Senior Living Design Team keeps the interiors of roughly 125 communities looking their best renovations refreshes and furniture fixtures and equipment (FF&E) projects across five states. As that portfolio has grown we have redesigned how the team works: design leadership sets the vision scope and budget for each project and a dedicated coordinator carries every approved project through to
completion. The Interior Project Coordinator is that role the person who keeps everything moving.
Scope of Responsibility
You will be the day-to-day point of contact for communities on active interior projects: coordinating orders scheduling vendors and installers managing installations working around residents lives closing out punch lists and making sure nothing falls through the cracks between an approved plan and a finished space. It is a highly relational highly organized role you will work with facility teams vendors and manufacturers across the portfolio and the relationships you build will be as important as the schedules you keep.

Coordinate ordering and procurement of approved finishes furniture lighting and soft goods against Americares established design standards.
Schedule coordinate and oversee furniture and equipment package installations across communities.
Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for community leaders and facility staff on active interior projects.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with renovation contractors and installers serving as their primary point of contact for scheduling site access and day-to-day progress escalating
scope pricing or contract changes to the CapEx & Interior Projects Lead.
Coordinate resident-impact logistics including scheduling around occupancy and resident moves during renovation work.
Manage vendor manufacturer and installer scheduling communication and follow-up to keep projects on time and to Americare expectations.
Maintain project status timelines and communications in the teams shared project-tracking system.
Manage punch lists warranty claims and project closeout through final completion.
Support communities with replacement FF&E purchases against established standards.
Work directly with our operations team to resolve interior project issues escalating design budget or compliance decisions to the appropriate team lead.
Help build and improve the coordination processes tools and vendor relationships this role relies on your input will shape how the position evolves.
Travel
Travels throughout the assigned region including occasional overnight stays to meet operational needs.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Highschool diploma or equivalent.
Experience coordinating commercial interiors construction renovation and/or facilities projects preferred.
Licenses
Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
Experience/Skills
Hands-on experience with interior products and installation for example FF&E soft goods window treatments or related commercial interior work.
Strong relationship and communication skills; comfortable serving as a friendly dependable point of contact for many communities and contractors at once.
Highly organized and momentum-oriented; able to keep multiple projects moving simultaneously and follow through to completion.
Comfortable working with project-tracking tools ( Monday Airtable or Asana) or willing to learn quickly.
Proficiency with Excel Microsoft Word and standard office tools.
Flexible responsive to change and energized by helping build something new.
Travel is required to visit our senior living communities in KS MO TN IL and MS. The amount varies with project schedules averaging around 40% of the time by car and/or

Position Overview
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: This position operates primarily from a home office with frequent travel to Americare communities. Standard Monday through Friday schedule with flexibility as project needs require. This job operates in a professional office within the Assisted Living Community. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines. Operate a car for required travel.

Safety Equipment
It is mandatory to follow safety policies and procedures including usage of carts when moving items rather than lift heavy objects break down items to smaller quantity.
Use of PPE is required when appropriate to prevent exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
Use of seat belt when operating or traveling driving or riding in a vehicle. Hands-free cell phone use required when operating a vehicle.
Mandatory reporting of all work-related injuries within 12 hours to supervisor with participation in required documentation.
Participation in our drug & alcohol testing procedures is a mandatory part of employment.
OSHA Exposure
Category III not at risk for exposure to blood borne pathogens.
