• Month-end and year-end close including reconciliation and cleanup of legacy issues
• Balance sheet integrity inventory accruals reserves intercompany and anything else that has drifted
• Accounting system transition or ERP financial module implementation and data migration
• Internal controls and process documentation
• Audit preparation and management of the external audit relationship
• Day-to-day management of the accounting team
• Support to the CFO or sponsor on reporting diligence requests and quality of earnings work

• 10 years in accounting with at least 3 in a controller or assistant controller role
• Manufacturing environment experience including inventory and cost accounting
• A record of cleaning up genuinely messy books not just maintaining clean ones
• Hands-on ERP experience you can work in the system not just review its output
• CPA strongly preferred
• Ability to start on short notice and be on site five days a week

Strong plus: ERP conversion or migration lead experience; PE portfolio company reporting; audit background; multi-entity or multi-site consolidation.
