Job Summary

Ascella Technologies is looking for an Interface Lead to support the modernization of legacy financial management capabilities for a federal agency. By collaborating on the integration architecture you will help ensure stable transaction flows between external systems and a modern cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform. Your work directly contributes to improving daily operational efficiency and data integrity across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integration Delivery: Lead a high-performing technical team through the complete analysis design development and testing of complex batch and real-time interface programs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary engineering liaison with systems integrators and legacy asset owners translating functional requirements into approved Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
  • Agile Governance: Champion Lean-Agile delivery within a structured Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) converting user stories into scalable production-ready integration builds.

Must-Have Skills (Required)

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university
  • 10 years of experience in federal financial management systems including a minimum of 5 years explicitly leading interface development teams for enterprise-scale software deployments.
  • Proven hands-on experience designing and developing both batch and real-time interfaces specifically for CGI Momentum products.
  • 2 years of experience successfully directing technical teams within an Agile or SAFe framework.
  • Mastery of designing updating and finalizing comprehensive Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTM).

Nice-to-Have Skills (Preferred)

  • Familiarity with enterprise service bus (ESB) technologies Red Hat JBoss EAP or Red Hat Fuse architectures.
  • Experience converting manual test frameworks into automated regression testing scripts.

Location: Washington DC (mostly remote)
Base Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and we are open to discussing compensation based on your qualifications and experience
Other Compensation: 4% contribution to 401(k) performance bonus profit-sharing
