Integration Tester

The Integration Tester plays a critical role in ensuring the stability accuracy and reliability of Navy Mutuals enterprise applications and system integrations. This position is responsible for designing executing and continuously improving testing strategies across a complex technology environment that includes policy administration systems customer-facing applications Salesforce CRM platforms MuleSoft Anypoint Platform integrations APIs middleware services secure file transfers and other interconnected business successful candidate partners closely with business stakeholders developers project managers business analysts vendors and subject matter experts to validate system functionality ensure data integrity and support successful software include validating REST and SOAP APIs JSON and XML payloads enterprise file transfers (SFTP/WinSCP) and backend data synchronization across multiple integrated systems. This role requires a strong understanding of integration testing methodologies enterprise application testing API validation middleware technologies and quality assurance best Integration Tester serves as a champion of quality by leading testing efforts across multiple enterprise initiatives while driving confidence in Navy Mutuals systems through planning execution reporting automation and continuous process Duties and ResponsibilitiesQuality Assurance & TestingLead testing and quality assurance efforts for Navy Mutual software applications with a primary focus on the Policy Administration System and its integrations with Salesforce CRM MuleSoft middleware payment platforms customer-facing applications and other enterprise maintain and execute comprehensive test strategies test plans test cases regression suites and test scripts aligned with business and technical and coordinate System Testing Integration Testing End-to-End Testing Regression Testing Smoke Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Verify software releases meet functional technical integration and business requirements before production validation activities and provide Go/No-Go recommendations during software Integration TestingValidate enterprise data flows and business processes across interconnected REST and SOAP APIs using Postman validating requests responses authentication business rules HTTP status codes and error MuleSoft integrations using Anypoint Platform validating API orchestration routing transformations field mappings middleware processing and system JSON and XML payloads ensuring proper formatting required fields nested objects arrays data types and response backend data by comparing source and target systems to ensure data integrity completeness consistency and accurate secure file transfers using WinSCP (SFTP) validating inbound and outbound integration files scheduled batch jobs CSV TXT XML and JSON file integration issues using API responses MuleSoft logs payload comparisons correlation IDs application logs and backend accurate synchronization of data across Salesforce Policy Administration Systems payment gateways customer portals and downstream enterprise Automation & Release SupportCollaborate with technical teams to develop maintain and enhance automated testing automated regression testing using Selenium WebDriver RestAssured Java JUnit and in release planning deployment support release readiness reviews and post-production testing scope effort dependencies and release risks while communicating impacts to stakeholdersDefect Management & Problem ResolutionAnalyze application issues integration failures API defects middleware issues and unexpected system track and manage defects throughout the SDLC using Jira and Azure defect resolution with developers vendors business stakeholders and integration defect fixes through functional regression API and end-to-end testing before production CollaborationPartner with Business Analysts Developers Project Managers Subject Matter Experts Operations Accounting Compliance Customer Service external vendors and Subject Matter Experts throughout project in requirements gathering design reviews and implementation planning testing progress risks issues and outcomes to stakeholders in a timely and effective ImprovementEvaluate and enhance QA methodologies testing standards and testing documentation process improvements that increase testing effectiveness and software audits quality reviews and post-implementation establish and maintain best practices for enterprise testing and quality ResponsibilitiesReview business and technical documentation for accuracy completeness and priorities and testing activities to support changing business needs and release other duties as QualificationsBachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science Business Technology or a related field or equivalent combination of education and of 3-5 years of experience in software testing quality assurance systems analysis or enterprise application testing enterprise business applications and complex system developing and executing test plans
