Duration: 12 Months (Contract)
Location: San Diego CA (On-Site)
Work shift: 8:00AM-5:00PM (9x80 A)
Secret clearance: Required

Positionsummary:
  • As anIntegration and Test Systems Engineeryou will support programs within our Connectivity and Network Solutions (CNS) Business Unit (BU).
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain processes and procedures for the assembly and test of spacecraft aircraft and/or related equipment.
  • Coordinate integration activities with supervisors program engineers and various customer organizations.
  • Document and disposition hardware discrepancies and pursuing root cause and corrective actions.
  • Design and develop tooling to aid in the integration and test process.
Basic qualifications:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytical thinking problem solving skills and Systems Thinking mindset
  • Excellent decision making and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work in an integrated product team (IPT) environment
  • Ability and willingness to work independently with little oversight or direction
  • Advanced troubleshooting of hardware and software issues
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Secret clearance with additional customer specified clearance prior to start.
Required education & experience:
  • 5 years with a Bachelors in Science OR 3 years with Masters OR 1 year with PhD.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in an integration and test environment for complex electronic systems evaluation
  • Experience performing Design Verification Tests Environmental Qualification Testing and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) Qualification Testing
  • Working knowledge of DOORS and Verification Cross Reference Matrices
  • Working knowledge of the following specialty areas: EOIR systems sensors optics
  • Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE) concepts and tools (Cameo)
  • Knowledge of MATLAB C C Java Python or other scripting languages
  • Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance
  • Ability and willingness to travel
